Tailgate Taste Fest

2015 Restaurant Information and Application

Saturday October 3, 2015 3pm-9pm

 

On Saturday, October 3, 2015 Tampa Bay’s Vintage Seltzer Tailgate Taste Fest will be held in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Downtown Tampa. In addition to food tastings, the Tailgate Taste Fest will feature live entertainment showcasing local and regional musical talent, local celebrities and special guests, local sports organizations, a beer garden and a VIP area.

 

The festival layout will offer four different zones based on type of tailgate food.

 Barbecue

 Burger Sliders

Side Items/ Small Plates

Restaurants that sign up prior to Friday, September 10th will receive a 50% share of the revenue for each sample they distribute!

Awards

Participating restaurants will be entered into an on-site competition with an array of awards, including a People’s Choice Award.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancelations received before September 18, 2015 will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are given after September 18, 2015

 

Deadline

Please turn in your application by Friday, September 10, 2015 to reserve your spot. It is possible for vending spaces to sell out before this deadline.

 

Directions and Setup Info

Directions and setup information will be emailed to vendors one week prior to the event.

 

 

 

Fees

$250 Refundable Deposit for tent space.

 

Fire Code

All restaurants must follow the Tampa Fire Code. For more information contact (813) 274-7011, at Tampa Fire.  

 

Hours of Operation

Friday (10/2) 8am-8pm will be load-in. All nonperishable supplies and equipment must be loaded in this day. A detailed schedule of load-in times will be provided one week prior. 

Saturday (10/3) 8am-2pm Load-in.

Saturday (10/3) 3m-9pm. All vendors must remain open during event hours. Any vendor leaving early will lose their deposit.

 

Insurance

You must provide a copy of your certificate of insurance.

 

Participant Information

All ages are welcome. This will be a family-friendly environment. General Admission cost is $20 and that will include one (1) wristband which includes five (5) samples. Additional wristbands will be $15 and include five (5) samples. VIP tickets will be $75 and include all you can eat food & beverage.

 

Power

Power will be provided, however supply your own 50-100 ft. extension cord.

 

Requirements

Each vendor is required to provide enough food for 1,500 people. Samples will be complimentary and we ask that sample sizes include one of the following:

Three (3) wings / (2) tenders

One (1) plate (up to restaurants discretion)

One (1) burger slider

One (1) small plate (up to restaurants discretion)

 

Each vendor will receive:

(1) 10’ x 10’ tent

(2) 8’ Tables & (2) Chairs

 

Security

Overnight Security will be provided from 8pm Friday to 6am Saturday. Tailgate Taste Fest is not responsible for lost or stolen goods.

 

Weather

This event will occur rain or shine.
